Program Summary and Objectives

To achieve the goals of SAFETEA-LU and the FMCSA mission of reducing the number and severity of crashes, fatalities, and injuries involving large trucks and buses by ensuring that States comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations related to commercial driver’s license testing, issuance, and disqualification.
